"Distance-Based Stencil Selection for Meshless Finite Difference Methods in 3D"

Tóm tắt báo cáo: We introduce a meshless stencil selection algorithm in 3D that is based only on distance. The objective of this algorithm is to select a set of Ξ_ζ centers from an existing Ξ center set. Moreover, the Ξ_ζ set should satisfy that the centers ξ ä Ξ_ζ are evenly distributed around the center ζ and the distance from ξ ä Ξ_ζ to ζ is as small as possible. This algorithm supports the meshless finite difference method based on radial basis functions (RBF-FD) to solve the Dirichlet problem for the Poisson equation in 3D.
